Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District residents will have the opportunity on May 9 to learn more about the district’s proposed $63.7 million budget for the 2022-23 school year.
The proposed budget focuses on preserving and enhancing student programming, supporting students’ mental health and moving forward the district’s four strategic plan focus areas of wellness; curriculum and programs; diversity, equity and inclusion; and family and community engagement.
As district administrators developed the budget, they aligned the plan with the district’s 2020-25 Strategic Plan.
The hearing will begin at 7 p.m. at the J-D District Office, which is on the J-D High School campus on Edinger Drive in DeWitt. The meeting will also be available for live viewing via Zoom. The Zoom link will be shared on the Board of Education Meetings web page once it is available.
