Opening performance of J-DHS musical “Mary Poppins” still on for 2/6 despite snow day

The Jamesville-DeWitt High School opening musical performance of “Mary Poppins” will still be performed Thursday, Feb. 6 despite the district’s snow day. All other school activities including sports contests are still cancelled.

“This was a difficult decision to make, but we’ve decided to let the opening performance continue after considering things like ticket sales, costume rentals, and that roads are expected to be cleared by tonight. We hope those who are able to still attend enjoy the show. Our students and staff have put in a lot of hard work and are ready to wow the crowds this weekend,” said Superintendent Peter Smith.

Ticket refund requests for anyone unable to attend due to today’s weather should contact J-D Music by visiting: https://jdmusic.ticketleap.com/mary-poppins/contact/
