Parents and guardians of incoming Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District kindergarten students are invited to a 6 p.m. Aug. 31 Zoom orientation meeting for the 2021-22 school year.
Each of the district’s three elementary school principals plan to host a meeting to discuss topics specific to their school, and will share their school’s Aug. 31 Zoom meeting link directly with families whose students are enrolled to begin school in September.
Sneak peek
On Sept. 2, each elementary school anticipates welcoming families and their students who will be attending school in the fall to an in-person visitation. Families whose students are registered to begin kindergarten in the fall will receive information specific to the times of their student’s school’s “sneak peek.” Each visit will be in 15-minute increments to allow for smaller group sizes, and face masks will be required. A letter detailing the visit and each student’s visitation time will be included in the schools’ official summer mailings, which should arrive to families around Aug. 25.
How to register
The district is currently registering students in person and electronically. In-person registration is by appointment only, and families can make an appointment by contacting District Registrar Lisa Howe at 315-445-8300. Information on how to register electronically can be found on the district website.
