J-D students compete in Technology Student Association National Conference

Jamesville-DeWitt High School students recently competed in the Technology Student Association’s national conference in Orlando, Florida. It was held in Rosen Shingle Creek from June 26-30. They competed against approximately 6,000 students from across the country, as well as chapters from Turkey, American Samoa, Germany, and Korea.  

They had notable performances in the following events: 

    • Flight
    • Solar Sprint
    • Dragster Design
    • Music Production
    • Problem Solving
    • On Demand Video Production
    • Manufacturing Prototype
    • Webmaster

“It was very rewarding to see our students’ hard work on the national stage! During our stay our students were able to participate in student leadership and the electoral process, and network with other TSA students. A great time was had by all and I am very proud of this group,” shared Technology and Engineering educator Bill Sauve. “Special shout out to our Problem Solving team of Luke McQuaid and Tim Cooper, as they were national finalists!”
