Get ready to be entertained! Jamesville-DeWitt High School students will be performing three shows of “9 to 5: The Musical” this February.
“9 to 5: The Musical,” with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.
The show is made possible thanks to the talents of 97 students in grades 9-12. There are 34 cast members, 36 instrumental pit members and 27 technical crew members. Special thanks to the entire J-D High School Musical Production team for guiding our talented students.
