The Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District has begun the search for a new Moses DeWitt Elementary School Principal. Current Principal Mary Sylvester will retire from the district in August.
The district is using ThoughtExchange to gather input from families and staff. The goal is to collect meaningful feedback about the qualities and skills wanted in the school’s next leader.
The surveys will be available from March 13-21. During these dates, you’re encouraged to return to the exchange to view and rate thoughts shared by others. It’s important to note that while your thoughts are shared, your identity is not.
Families can access the exchange HERE.
Your valuable input is appreciated and will be used while screening candidates. The interview process will be conducted by a diverse group of stakeholders including administrators, staff, and parents/caregivers.
Final interviews are expected to take place at the end of March or early April. The hope is to select the best candidate for the position and make an appointment in early May.
