Dear Jamesville-DeWitt families and staff,
The Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District is aware of a threat that was sent to several school districts across Central New York. The threat did NOT name any J-D school. According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI, the threats are not credible, and they believe the message came from overseas.
The safety and security of our students and staff is our number one priority and we continue to work with local law enforcement to maintain a secure environment. As a reminder, if you see something out of the ordinary, please say something.
